The winners of the Share Your Rado Moment contest, Mr. Markus Leutwyler, Mr. Wu Pin Chen and Ms. Lu Yi Chuan, have been awarded their prizes in ceremonies held in Switzerland and Taiwan.
The Share Your Rado Moment contest was all about time - what time means to people, its precious nature, and the occasionally mysterious role that time plays in our lives. Many people from around the world participated in the contest. Each sent us a different image representing a unique interpretation of time.
The Awards Ceremonies took place in June of this year in Switzerland and Taiwan. In Switzerland, the first place winner Mr. Markus Leutwyler traveled to Rado headquarters, where Rado president Mr. Roland Streule welcomed him and was pleased to present his prize, a new
Rado Ceramica Chronograph matt. Mr. Streule complimented Mr. Leutwyler on his prize-winning image, entitled “What is time?”, before introducing him to the world of Rado by means of a tour through the Rado factory.
In Taiwan, the winners of the second and third-place prizes, Mr. Wu Pin Chen and Ms. Lu Yi Chuan, respectively, received their prizes from Ms. Katherine Lee - Rado Brand Manager, Taiwan. Both were delighted to have participated in the contest and pleased with their prizes. Mr. Wu received an
8 GB Apple iPod Nano, Ms. Lu a
Lomography camera LC-A+. Both winners are members of the same Lomo club in Taiwan, but met in person for the first time at the Awards Ceremony.
