Rado is proud to announce the winner of Rado Young Design Prize: Jakub Sobiepanek, who was chosen by the Award Committee of Lodz Design Festival.

The prize, a Rado Ceramica Chronograph watch, was given to Jakub Sobiepanek at the Award Ceremony of Lodz Design Festival on Octobre 15th, for his project "The Lace Table".

Like this young designer reinvents and interpretates daily objects as unique design pieces by engaging new technologies, Rado commits itself to the fusion of material such as high-tech ceramics and design as unique as the Rado Ceramica. The combination of these qualities makes this designers' and Rados' objects unique and timeless.

Design is a fundamental part of the Rado brand philosophy, and as an important player within the international design-scene, Rado is continuously looking at innovative ways to support designers. By partnering with Lodz Design Festival in Poland and awarding the Rado Young Design Prize, Rado is further strengthening association with design in the world and especially in Poland.
