VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2008
During Vienna Design Week 2008 Rado displays an installation by Numen/For Use in the Swiss watchmaker’s Vienna store from 2 to 12 October.
The alliance of creative talents on view at the Rado Store Vienna during Vienna Design Week 2008 is fruit of a common feeling for the imaginative possibilities inherent in the meeting of light and its absence, of the static made dynamic through the medium of the viewer’s eye. In the trick of the light is the space where imagination flourishes.

NEW ENVIRONMENT
On July 9, 2008 I.D. Magazine hosted its opening night for the 2008 Annual Design Review.
The exhibition commemorated this year’s winners in a range of categories from best in product, furniture, graphic and environmental design. Rado was honored the highly esteemed 2008 Design Distinction Award for its Jasper Morrison-designed packaging.
Since August, the new packaging is available for all the Rado collections. New watch box, new certificates and new warranty card.
