Rado watches on the Vickers scale: hard and scratch-proof

Hardmetal, high-tech ceramics, high-tech diamonds: We only use premium materials that not only guarantee the unique esthetic quality of Rado watches, but are also exceptionally robust.

The Vickers scale

The Vickers scale is used to define the hardness of materials. The higher the value, the better the scratch resistance. Rado watches are made of materials with a hardness of at least 1200 Vickers, making them significantly more durable than gold, steel, or platinum. The maximum value of 10,000 Vickers is achieved only by real diamonds and the Rado high-tech diamond surface.
