Tennis Roundup 2018

With the 2018 tennis season reaching an end, Rado looks back on another exciting year on court as the Official Timekeeper of a raft of international tournaments.

After a busy summer on the grass courts of the UK, where YoungStar Ashleigh Barty claimed another WTA title in Nottingham, the Rado tennis focus moved to the indoor courts of central and eastern Europe.

September and October saw the HyperChrome corner clocks timing every match in the Swiss Indoors, at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, Austria for the sixth time and also at Russia’s premier tournament, the Kremlin Cup, which is held annually in Moscow.

With timekeeping duties completed for 2018, the Rado timing equipment gets a well-deserved rest before heading off to its first tournament of 2019, which begins on December 30 in Brisbane, Australia.

It’s just the first stop for Rado on the tennis circuit for 2019 as the brand takes on timing duties at tournaments around the world.
