Jason Wu is the latest Rado YoungStar

11 September 2017

A new YoungStar has been born: Rado is proud to welcome rising tennis star Jason Wu as the latest addition to the Rado YoungStar programme. Jason made history on 10 September 2017 by becoming the first Chinese player to win the U.S. Open Boys’ Singles title. He accepted the trophy for his historic junior grand slam win while wearing the Rado HyperChrome Match Point.

Born in Hangzhou, China, Jason (Yibing) took up the game of tennis at the young age of six. In addition to his recent U.S. Open win, Jason already has a number of accomplishments to his name. He enjoys the distinction of being the youngest winner of the Chinese Grand Prix (2016) and the only Chinese male junior to have been ranked #1 at a major event (Australian Open 2017). Also the winner of a Davis Cup match (vs. Taiwan, 2016) and the Anning Futures 2016, Jason is tipped to be the first Chinese top 100 ATP player. Rado is thrilled to have the opportunity to support Jason every step of the way on his journey to success.

"I am proud to be joining Rado along with the other top tennis players in the YoungStar team," says Jason. "I also feel privileged to be chosen to represent the brand in China."
