A new way to share the love

08 June 2017

The DiaMaster Grande Seconde and the DiaMaster Diamonds are both standout watches from the DiaMaster collection, but each with special brilliance of their own. Like an ideal couple, they accompany and complement one another while radiating their own different charm and personality. Rado launched this brand new pair of couple’s watches at a glamorous event in Chao Hotel in Beijing yesterday. Rado CEO Matthias Breschan was joined by Rado ambassador Tang Wei for the presentation of this perfectly polished pair of timekeepers.

The Rado DiaMaster collection was unveiled to the audience under a dreamlike canopy of lights and shadows. Forming a striking contrast to the traditional couple watches, which usually offer the same look in different sizes, this DiaMaster duo is formed from two unmistakably unique timepieces, each offering a distinctly masculine or feminine take on the classic wristwatch. The DiaMaster Grande Seconde offers a gentlemanly look, while the DiaMaster Diamonds shines and glitters on the wrist.

Drawing on her own experience, Tang remarked, “I personally couldn’t agree more with the idea of a couple growing stronger through each other’s differences. In my life, my beloved and I are exactly like this. We come from different backgrounds with different languages, cultures and lifestyles. To cultivate a deep and timeless love, we make the effort to be together but without wanting to change the other’s personality or interests. We love each other, but keep our own hearts determined. I really like how this spirit is reflected in the DiaMaster couple’s watches. They have distinct designs, but with the same plasma high-tech ceramic as their determined foundation, making them eternal items on the wrists of two lovers.”
