Rado gets things moving!
For the second time, Rado presents in collaboration with the Vienna Design Week, the design competition Rado Moving Materials. From March to August, six motion designers will have the opportunity to impress on the video wall of the Rado Boutique in Vienna with installations specially designed for the location. During the Vienna Design Week in September 2024, a jury will select the winner of the Rado Moving Materials Prize.”

Grow
In her work “Grow”, Marie Dokter deals with characteristics that make time visible: Growth and flow. Using procedural techniques, she explores various methods for the abstract visualization of time.
Marie Dokter
Marie Dokter is a Vienna-based 3D designer who works at the intersection of design, film and art. During her Bachelor's degree in Information Design at FH Joanneum, she discovered her passion for 3D design, especially for shading and lighting. As part of her subsequent Master's degree in Media Design, she deepened her technical skills and worked intensively on painting in three-dimensional space and virtual reality.
During and after her studies, she worked in the VFX team of the film “Stars under the City” and gained valuable experience in larger production pipelines. She is currently working in motion design at Moodley, where she explores the intersection of graphic design and 3D animation.
