Trapp Junior

Trapp Junior, meaning Stair Junior, is a step ladder designed in collaboration with the stair manufacturer Trapperingen.

The step ladders’ components is designed to fill the unused space which occurs in the plates Trapperingen mills out their stair parts from. In this way Trapp Junior can be produced in the same process as the staircase parts and contribute to decrease the amount of material wastage.

The generous dimensions from stair production is retained to avoid more waste. The wheels is implemented for to make it easier to move around the stair chair.
Trapp Junior is a fusion between Trapperingen as a manufacturer and me as a furniture designer.
