California Battery Recycling Fee (SB 1215)

Effective January 1, 2026, the State of California requires a recycling fee on the purchase of products with embedded batteries that are not easily removable. This fee supports the safe collection and recycling of electronic waste.

Covered Products: All Rado quartz-powered watches.
Battery Chemistry: Silver Oxide.
Fee Amount: 1.5% of the purchase price (capped at $15).
