After turning pro in 2016, Ugo Humbert has shot up the ATP rankings, breaking into the top 40 in 2020 and winning his first ATP Tour title in Auckland that year – the first French champion in the tournament’s 65-year history. He took his second career title later that year at the European Open in Antwerp, and achieved a career-high ATP ranking at No. 29 in March 2021. Most comfortable playing on hard courts, he is known for his attacking style, powerful two-handed backhand and his ability at the net.

A keen football fan and music lover, he is as comfortable sitting at a piano as he is with a racquet in his hands. We are delighted to include Ugo in our YoungStars team and are certain he has a bright future ahead of him.

Jay Clarke began playing tennis aged just three when his older sister introduced him to the sport and he has never looked back. The rising star is a former Tennis Europe Number 1, British Under 18 number 1 and was in the world’s Top 200 within two years of starting out on the men’s circuit.

‘It gives me extra motivation.’

Jay’s favourite playing surfaces are clay and grass – one of his career highlights was facing Roger Federer at Wimbledon in front of a home crowd. In the same tournament, he teamed up with young US star, Coco Gauff, in the doubles. His strong focus and positive mental attitude have earned him the nickname ‘100%’ among his friends and peers. We’re proud to support Jay, a champion in the making and a wonderful addition to the YoungStars team.

Cameron Norrie is the most recent young tennis pro to join the ranks of Rado’s rising stars. A South African who grew up in New Zealand and has represented Great Britain since 2013, Cameron is currently enjoying his best season to date: at 25 the former Top-10 junior is ranked at a career high 29, reflecting his 35 tour-level wins in 2021, including his first career ATP Tour title at the Mifel Open in Los Cabos, Mexico. Cameron’s maiden title came in his fourth ATP Tour final of the season following earlier runs to the championship match in Estoril, Lyon and at The Queen’s Club.

‘Precision is essential in tennis and watchmaking.’

Sport plays a big role in Cameron’s off-court life, too. He relaxes – by watching tennis, basketball and cricket, and is a fan of both the American (NFL) and British varieties of football (Newcastle United in particular). He also spends time with music and on the beach, at least when he isn’t busy working on his game.
