SEE THE 2023 WINNER

The winner of the Rado People’s Choice Award for the 2023 edition, chosen by the public, is BYM; Bymøbel for ungdom by Mia Thuv Solhaug og Caroline Schwartz. They impressed the public with their tailored design for youth by focusing on creating an outdoor meeting place to increase inclusivity and presence for the user group in society.

Rado continues to promote creativity worldwide by offering a platform for young talents to showcase their work. Dive into the world of Rado and Design and discover the latest design collaboration and the 10 DS Best Talent Award competition projects, at Oslo Event Hub, 8th – 10th September. Creativity is the lifeblood of Rado. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with some of the world’s most visionary artists and designers, from Andy Warhol to Le Corbusier. The Rado DiaStar 60-Year Anniversary Edition is the result of the most recent collaboration with Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli.

Rado People's Choice Award

Rado is a dedicated supporter of up-and-coming young designers, offering a platform for the DS Best Talent Award finalists to showcase their work at the Rado stand in Oslo Event Hub. Rado invites people to vote for their favourite designer, giving each of the finalists a chance to win the Rado People’s Choice Award and one of the Swiss watch brand’s unique timepieces.

DS Best Talent Award

The DS Best Talent Award is an established and highly recognized competition that invites design students and designers to compete in a design competition. The idea behind the establishment is to gather future-oriented projects, new developments in the industry and important, current debates under one roof. The program takes place in collaboration with the 6 most important Norwegian design education programs.
